Common Sense Summit
on Kids and Families
In January 2024, Common Sense Media hosted its first-ever Common Sense Summit on Kids and Families. This was a national event that brought together over 600 experts, policymakers, and advocates to discuss the most critical issues facing young people. The event's success depended on a unified and impactful visual brand.
In my role, I collaborate with the Creative Director and product designers to bring the summit's brand to life. I was responsible for the end-to-end design and production of all visual assets, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience for all attendees.
We developed a comprehensive design system for the event, creating everything from large-scale banners and wayfinding signs to small-detail items like napkins and lunch tags. I designed branded materials for sponsors, including a "Pin In Real Life" wall for Pinterest. I also created a range of digital assets for social media and worked with the team on event branding, which included everything from furniture selection to overall visual identity.
Through a consistent and cohesive design strategy, we helped create a fun, inviting, and professional atmosphere for the inaugural summit. The branding successfully reinforced the event's core mission and provided a seamless experience for all attendees, contributing to the summit's overall success.
