Common Sense Education:
AI Literacy Lessons
for Grades 6–12

The rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI) created an urgent need for educational resources to help students in grades 6-12 understand its potential benefits and risks. Common Sense Education needed to develop a series of quick, engaging lessons that were both informative and accessible to a teen audience.

My role was to collaborate with the Video Team to design a cohesive visual identity for this new lesson series. My goal was to create compelling, on-brand materials that leveraged existing video artwork for the lesson covers while adhering to our established brand guidelines for the internal lesson content.

I worked in partnership with the Video Team to source and adapt existing video artwork to create a distinct and unified look for the lesson covers. I then applied established brand guidelines to design the internal lesson materials, ensuring consistent and engaging materials. This process involved careful integration of visual assets to create a seamless user experience for students and educators.

The result was a successful launch of the AI Literacy Lessons collection. The consistent and thoughtful design ensured that these important resources were presented in a clear, engaging, and professional manner, helping students to think critically and responsibly about AI and its impact on their lives.
